Prayer Needs
Thank you, our dear friends and family for lifting us up in prayer.
In this part of our Pray for Tal site you will find our week by week prayer needs. This will be updated as the weeks unfold but for right now this is what we know to be on our “plate” for the month of December.
Please take special note of our December 21st UCSF visit.
I have to share honestly that I do not want to go.
My hope is that God will help me to trust him for this trip and trade my fears for His courage, my weary soul for His strength and my aching heart for His Joy.
I think I’ve reached the halfway mark of this journey,
too far to turn back but too close to hope the end will be all we are trusting for.

21 December 09 – 3rd Visit to UCSF – This is a big one for us.
1.Safe travel – we will be staying overnight for this one.
2.Fetal ECHO (9:00am) – this is the ultra-sound where they will check Tal’s heart if there is a heart condition the Doctors could decide to not perform any surgery on Tal’s CDH post birth.
3.Ultrasound (10:15) – This is the one where they measure Tal’s lung to head ratio. He has gone from a .4 to a .7-.9. For this test we need him to either be totally healed or above a 1.0.
4.Consult (11:15) – Where we meet with Dr. Rand and get all the info from our test. This part is always so hard and I have to say I don’t want to do it. But we are trying to live by faith and hope that this time the new will be awesome. Yeah God!!!
5.Social Worker & Tour (11:45) – this final leg of our UCSF visit will truly be the hardest. We will talk about housing and finances but will also take a tour of the nursery and meet with their Comfort Care Team (baby hospice).
6.Safe Travel – home. It’s the longest drive after an emotional and heart rending day. We hope to be bolstered by good news and encouraged by God’s favor.
